Two years ago, the idea of a holiday seemed so out of reach thanks to the Covid-19 Pandemic. Now, things are changing. Restrictions have ended, more holiday destinations are opening up and life is slowly returning to normality.
I always love a good trip driving around Europe. It is something I have always done with my family. We spent many holidays around in France from the Dordogne to the French Alps. It was a great experience as not only was the food so much better than that of the U.K, but it also gave me a chance to pick up and perfect my French skills. France always has a very special place in my heart. I feel very at home there and just love everything about the culture.
This year, we have something very excited planned. Along with my Moroccan travels, I will be touring a small part of Europe for a couple of weeks, camping and enjoying what nature has to offer. I love a good all-inclusive but it's never wrong to enjoy a little bit of the wild side and camp in a country too. It's what I've done virtually all my life, minus a few plane holidays abroad, but my holiday experience has predominantly been camping abroad, and more specifically, France. I absolutely love travelling Europe.
So, we start our travels by crossing the Euro Tunnel at Folkestone into Calais via car. The rest of our travel destinations follows:
Lac de La Liez, France
Camping Le Lac Blue - Doussard (Annecy), France
Camping Nattersee, Innsbruck, Austria
Lake Lucerne, Switzerland
Lac du Der, France
We will be camping at all of these locations, and I can't wait to share every single moment with you.
I will be posting regular updates from my travels on my Instagram page @ellasampson
There is plenty that I need to do to get ready. We have a lot of our camping equipment already and we are also taking our bikes to cycle around these countries too. I have been to Annecy a few times already and I cannot emphasise enough how much you need to go there. It is a truly stunning country and we stay at the best campsite and the only one on the lake at that. Traveling Europe has always been a thing I have enjoyed doing and I am very grateful to get the chance to do it as often as I have done. I have a lot more things I would love to do, but for now, it's straight to the bucket list for that.
I will, of course, be updating my readers regularly about my travels, so if you are a regular and haven't subscribed to get notified on your emails, you can do so here. I love to write about my travels and would hate for you to miss out, especially as a travel Europe on this mini-tour.
Now, it's time to get my camping gear ready, save up to enjoy a little cash on holiday and look into some amazing sites to visit.
